Welcome Welcome to the Pearl Mountain Music Company. Founded in 2009, Pearl Mountain was created to introduce "unconventional" high-quality, culturally diverse musical instruments from far and near to the musically curious and to in turn have a positive impact on the musical and environmental education of people around the world.
Pearl Mountain Music Company--Who We AreAs we are such a new company that we don't yet have an established physical location, watch this site regularly for the latest offerings and demo locations. Individual private demonstrations may also be arranged at mutually agreed-upon location. 'Pearl Mountain' is the literal translation (from French and Italian, respectively) of my name--company founder Margot Monti. A collector--and player--of many diverse instruments in a variety of musical settings, I started Pearl Mountain to share the excitement of discovery in unique forms of musical expression. From this, I hope my customers will also wonder at the natural and cultural worlds these instruments came from and will help support efforts to teach others about them.
